My life's been really preoccupied these days!
Well it's (practically) revolving around band recently... But it really feels great to be busy :)
Well at least, I feel that I am really doing something productive (By playing AND working hard for band), which is totally UNLIKE my procrastinating and complacent self (I'm quite embarrassed to admit this =x), and sharing a common goal with my fellow bandsmen- not forgetting all the dinners and really fun times we share together- so I am not in any aspect unhappy with all the business I'm facing nowadays. haha.

Well speaking about band camp, I had a slight (well as a matter of fact it was quite serious) fever; 39.9 degrees on the second day, so I couldn't join the band for the second and third day :( But everyone certainly has improved on their playing!

Something I was really delirious about -> I passed my instrument proficiency test! With an A grade (WAHAHA seriously seriously didn't even expect a B grade... But I'm definitely proud of myself- I practised hard for it okay!)

Going to fly to Australia in one day... Tasmania, here I come! I feel hyped up and ready to go!
We're all going to have a great time there, so I hope everyone in the band really practices hard (individually) for their own parts(for the time being!) so we will really sound as a whole... Nevertheless, let's all look forward to it!

I went out to study with Kun Yun and Nicholas today!

It was not preplanned since Nick asked me out at 12 to meet at Lot 1 at 2 in the food court lol! But we actually sat at a table beside the escalator railings so there wasn't a strong heavy smell of (tempting) food.

Hmmm, albeit there was a lot of noise with the cacophony of chatter and the irritable blasting of music from a nearby store next door, the study session was generally productive since I have my trusty earphones!!! - To block out surrounding noise haha. Managed to finish my atmospheric notes for Geography. The three of us didn't talk much so I could really concentrate on grasping all the confusing heat transfer modes and the new hydrology notes are quite perturbing lol.

I wasn't listening to music since my hp battery was running low lol!

Anw band camp's in 4 days! Looking forward to it. :) :)
Prof test is in 2 days! Not so looking forward to it :( :(

14 MORE DAYS to Hobart. I can really see that everyone is working hard towards it, so we should all keep it up and encourage one another.

Today was the last day of CNY.

I went to Malaysia (again) to visit my Grand Aunt ( My grandmother's younger sister)

She has a nice plot of land which is used to build a badminton court, a nice sports apparel shop and a cafe-which is quite a lucrative business! I saw most of the 12 badminton courts being used. Way in front is a big car park and behind the badminton lies her bungalow house. And what's really special about her house is that swallows build nests at the entrance! (Though I didn't see it with my own eyes, that was what my mother claimed) That'd be cool, having swallows build nests at your house. Once their chicks hatch, grow and leave the nest you'd have a constant supply of bird's nest. lol. Though according to my prior knowledge, swallows build nests only at cliffs and high elevated areas o_o Maybe the information is not exactly correct or the swallows are adapting to climate change? who knows lol.

House visiting at my house last Sunday! Not a lot of games lol but blackjack alone is entertaining hahas. I lost quite a substantial amount to that in between game! Think Dom ate all of it lawls =x F5! But at least I didn't end up with debts lol! And everyone tried to come despite their busy schedule. Thanks guys- Dominique, Mark, Gordon, Kun Yun, Nicholas, Zong Li- for coming! =D

Looking forward to 28! Although it's going to be awkward! Hope Rav does not only talk to her fam mates and forget me lol!

I keep thinking and worrying whether AJ band will do well for the Hobart Competition. It's almost a month away. GOLLY. Hope everyone puts in their utmost effort to prepare for it.

I did maths peer tutoring questions and felt so miserable! Could only get like 5 correct even with the answer scheme -_-

And does anyone know the secret formula to keeping awake in lectures?!?!

It was announced on 22 Jan that Sun Mi from Wonder Girls would be leaving the 5-girl band in pursuit for her studies. With the support of JYP and family members, she'd be officially leaving for South Korea at the end of February. Meanwhile, a three year JYPE trainee named Hye Rim aka Lim, will be taking Sunmi’s place......

I'm a big fan of WG and considering the fact that they just debutted in the Western market, this is really shocking news =/

Life sucks. Well, to the least, at the moment...

Life in school feels like experiencing the extreme seasons of the weather.

Sometimes I feel so high then sometimes I don't even feel like talking...

Homework keeps piling yada yada

And there are so many things I wanna do, so many goals I've set for this year...

Okay a few updates about what happened this weekend. Hmmm. anything interesting?

Watched anime till late in the morning on Friday. Then I was supposed to meet JunRong, Joyce and zhenwei on Saturday morning for studying at 10.30am.

Well I overslept and woke up at 11am. Lawls.

Thanks JR for being patient and not losing your temper lol! Unlike JR, I hate to wait. =x so I felt quite bad about oversleeping ):

Anyway, we met up at some mall behind causeway and did some homework and stuff yada yada, the three of them started talking some stuff I couldn't catch and then I did maths, dunno how to do some question and asked them. no one knew how to do.
Then the surrounding music was so distracting I couldn't even think of a solution to the maths question lol.

Ahhh give up. Then I read some geo notes and "OKAY let's pack up!" claimed joyce and zw.
ahh haha, study session: epic fail.

Anyway the three of us went back to BP to watch the band rehearse their formations.

Woots first time in a long while I came back to BP! Then I saw many familiar faces and stuff... shalln't elaborate much on that.

Anyway, when we all went home it was around 6pm like that.

Initially wanted to go for a swim but since Joyce said she's going to, I decided to skip and swim today(Sun) hahas.

Anyway, yesterday was quite a hectic occasion: My cousins and family members went to my Aunt's house to celebrate her baby's first month. But I was too lazy to head there so I stayed home hahs.

Anyway Rav, I just wanna tell u that I won't quit audi! Though I'm not in the mood to really play it now ( Give my shitty connection and busy life)

And welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll there's not much for me to talk about my life.

I woke up very early

Washed up, had a quick shower

Ate quickly, and my parents gave me a great hug.

Set off to the LRT station (Bad move)

The train was so cramped, around six people couldn't get into the first train that arrived, which included me.

Then I waited for the next train... A crowd of people started gathering and yikes, I couldn't squeeze into the second train either -.-

Finally got onto the 3rd train and I realised that I'm just in time for Band. yikes..

But alas I arrived late cause

Well, you need time to walk to school urgh.

Anw,

I went into the band room cautiously and JR started exclaiming at me lol.

"Shen Wei why you so late?! Our shelf very messy go help Jyh Hang arrange!"

and Jon went "Ok those people who are not ready with their instruments are late.!"

(just as I half expected)

On top lay a nicely written card.

It's quite cute haha.

And okay okay I wore the pink socks they bought for me. Haha...

Like finally, I'm able to go out with my online friends despite all the hectic schedule I face in jc life.

Anyway, we went to downtown east wildwildwet!!!

And haha it's been a long time ever since I got out in the sun :D

I woke up damn early at 8.30am (Cause I was damn excited mah haha)
Anw, ven and sky needed morning calls ( haha expected lah)
and I kept calling and msg-ing till sky woke up.

Then ven was still out of reach - -"

And anw, I met sky at whitesands mall (near pasir ris)

And waa sky dyed his hair and pierce ear hole. ( Envy envy)

OH lol nono I'm not going to pierce my ear but well I'd want to get my hair dyed as well too... lol

ANYWAY we waited for sam, teck and ven's arrival and sam arrived and

you're tanner and also dyed your hair brown. Yikessssssss

BUT anyway, I already planned to do all these after A lvls so...nvm!

Anw, sam passed us his NEBO card cause it offers a $7 price ( more than 50% discount) for 1 ticket admission to WWW. Then he needed to meet his mom again X.X

and lol that's quite a good deal.

But it seemed too good to be true o_o

Uncle:" I bought ticket for my friends and they are not coming to I'll resell them to you at half price. I'll get you pass the ticketing booth and you'll pay me inside"

and yeah, we agreed to his request and

hahah.

A loss for the uncle but a steal for us. Lol. =x

Anw sky's never been to WWW before lol ( sua ku haha)

and he's like damn scared of slide up (rofl rofl hahahaha kidding lah)

but anw, ven sam and teck caught up with us and we just played the whole afternoon going through all the games station Hah!

And childish as it may seem, we played catching at the professor's playground. ( haha all no childhood)
But it was actually quite fun haha :D

Then after that we washed up and stuff,

then ven and sam went off first to escort cheryl (haha) and buy cake at Tampines. Wee~

Zhiren a.k.a Pepsi and Cheryl joined us and we all ate Macs while waiting for fw and wl bros to make their appearance hahah.

Anw the evening came really quick T_T

And all of us were waiting and stoning lol lol

and watching ven play some arcade game and shouting and going wild yada yada and we went rooftop to sit down watch scenery still waiting then people were smoking very smelly and we went back in the shopping mall and waited and then we went to TM rooftop and played silly games and took many fun photos and ven suddenly want me to carry him and take picture then everyone wanted to carry cheryl and ven tried but failed terribly and I managed to lift her hahaha cheryl was damn scared and everyone was chasing each other heng the place was not very noisy and we were still waiting and

FINALLY

came weeliam and feng wei ^^

Anw, thanks lots for coming though u guys had work till so late ( and making it a point to dress up too haha :D )

but anyway, we all celebrated at macs and wow I had to blow cake there but it was a great experience stealing all the limelight (LOL)

I just recovered from my setback, after leaving house for 2 days and worrying my parents.

Anyway, the stayover at alvin's hse was very fun. (our outings are always fun anw)

That was my first and will be my last act of rebellion. =(

To all my friends who gave encouraging words and knocked some sort of sense into me:

Thank you, I'm very grateful =)

But knowing that there are people who have to take the retest, who got immediately retained and encouraged to leave [ my sincere condolences :( ], yeah I realised that I shouldn't take this chance for granted.

Jc stress is really creeping in and hitting us hard now =(

To begin with, I didn't do well for my promotional exams, not even the slightest bit.
Though I thought I scored pretty well with 3Bs, I still didn't get the 2 H2 passes and was deemed to fail the promotional criteria.

Depressed about it?

Totally

My lousy results got me worrying for the past 2 days but I'm very grateful to have made it to list A and got directly promoted. Thank you (whomever it might concern) for giving me this 2nd chance =)

And I was really happy that WeiLin, Cliantha and Kenneth made it to list A and got directly promoted as well. They were promoted. (yay)

However, there's still this overarching depressing feeling lurking around me...
I'm upset that some of my best freinds had to be expelled.
I'm upset that there's nothing I can do about it.

Just got the "extreme" tongue-lashing from my parents in like ten years, I was terribly upset and depressed about it. =(

Shall blog further and elaborate about that incident. ( I REALLY THINK MY PARENTS WENT TOO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Maybe it's time for my wake up call as well.

Today's sandcastle building and class outing was damn fun and meaningful!!! ^^

Surprisingly for me, it went off smoothly with only minor setbacks which we conquered eventually.

Today's outing with CLI and WEILIN was fun, too!

Hahs. Yeah we ate at our usual hip, chill out cafeteria.

Hah no lahs it's the hawker centre closest to AJ. It's cheap and sells quality food! :)
AJC-ians who haven't been there should try the fried fish bee hoon noodles! ICHIBAN.

Anw we had a breakfast cum lunch after the excruciating binomial tutorial ( That's because I was half-awake all the time)

Forget about that, we all proceeded to follow up our SL project and yeah we have a lot of things to work on - .-
First of all, regarding the theme, well our activities are... too generic and the counsellor wanted us to narrow down to a certain theme eg. Fun with Animals (lol)

Anw regarding the details about sl project I will elaborate further in 33/09 class blog :)

Next, we went to Yishun Library for lunch. Yeahs.

Anw Kenneth left and all the joking and mocking we shot each other kinda vanished Lol lol lol lol lol

Yeah Northpoint renovated. Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa VERY BIG LEH.

I still can rmb how it looked like.

I USED to stay in Yishun! ;o

Anw we mugged in Yishun Library.

Then came a problem ...

The tables and chairs were fully TAKEN.

Yikes.

But I found a solution to the problem. muahaha. ( Ok lah, it was us who found the solution :X)

We sat down at the cafeteria next to the library and haha to give face I bought the outrageously
EXPx100 Mango smoothie so we appeared like customers lah =)

Hahs. After the smoothie finished, cli and weilin went to top up our purchase and bought fries. HAHA so cunning!

Anw maths is a killer - .-

I did like 5 questions there? V unproductive zzz

But anw the chicken rice WEILIN intro-ed was great. and very value-for-money! $2.50 in fact.

And WOW I didn't know ah bengs and ah lians existed in secondary schools. according to cli and weilin. oO

Today's gathering was really happy and somewhat reminiscent...

Anw I kinda tricked her. I told kayyan to wear the skirt today! Haha.
But still okay lah, u didn't look out( dressed inappropriately). :)

There were kunyun, waileong, nicholas, yao cong, mark, gordon, zong li, dominique and me celebrating her birthday.

Hmm I arrived late today =/ But I had to get changed at home since I promised to wear nice nice. Lols

Oh and I share the same phone with siying, nick and zl. Yikes. I've realised that my phone's ubiquitous. But nvm. (It's special because I'm the user =D) LOL jkjk

Then I was feeling duper full cause of the lunch with cli and weilin just now =x but I bought a subway meal anw and ate. Everyone started chatting about PJ matters hahas but it seems really fun to be in PJ!

Some day, WL's going to lend me his PJ shirt and I'm sneaking in to study. Haha. SHHH)
Then there was boredom for a while and I started playing on DOM/WL's PSP
I was owning ZL in some fighting game hands down. HAHA.

OH YES And I felt that a forgotten friendship is slowly remending itself. I'm very happy we're now on better terms. Really.

I pretty much enjoyed Teachers' day :)

(That mass dance part was epic failure)

But the stage performances were RELATIVELY awesome :)

Was bored having to wait outside alone halfway through the performances, and the congestion that occured after the celebrations was really chaotic - -

Anw, Kenneth and I (apparently) forgot to report to the canteen after Teachers' Day for some important task zzz, hopefully the teacher won't get mad with us over this.

I went home, changed clothes and went back to BP :)

Yes, the nostalgia u get from visiting various schools will be different, and yes I am proud to be a BP alumni!

Unfortunately tragic to say, most of our teachers had already left: Mr Osgodby; our beloved form teacher, Ms Chew, Mrs Tan, Mr Tai......

Well that was utter disappointment since MANY of the 4P2 guys turned up.

I got (nastily) dao-ed by some ppl in BP though I did gave them friendly gestures when we met.
-__- but yes I'm glad to be back with the clique of guys in P2! =)

What we did:

Hmm, went for lunch.
Went to Dom's hse. He has a duper cute dog.
Fell asleep on his couch. Terribly comfortable, and extremely tired......
Went for a nice Western meal lunch at Bukit Batok: Mark's Intro! It was overally not bad! Though the taste of msg made me very thirsty...
We went out with KayYan too! Hah =D Met my ganjie since quite a long time le. Hees

After that, we had a long journey ( walk) from Bukit Batok all the way to Bukit Panjang LRT where we parted ways. It was a 30 minutes walk I think. Hahs. That was like the highlight of the day!!!
Because we had many many friendly and catching-up-with-each-others'-lives chatter.

Hahs.

That's about it.

And the conclusion I draw from the chatter is:

I need to start SERIOUS mugging.

But because I can endure and act well ( I guess), I think no one in class noticed anyway.. Of course the Malay food stall in our school canteen is ICHIBAN! 24th July was also CJCSB's handover ceremony but due to the H1N1 outbreak we (exco) were unable to attend it. :/

I kinda changed the meeting time from 6.30pm to 7.30pm because I wanted to take a nice afternoon nap :x

(It was such a cool breezy afternoon! IDEAL for sleeping)

Anw, we walked around, unable to decide over which place to dine at.

Hahs, initially wanted Pizza hut but the waiting time was too long. bleh.

So in the end, we chose Pastamania and though I really really really wanted to treat WL, along with the rest, my budget was tight -. -

Besides, he offered to pay for his own share. Hahs, friends for so long le, I guess he wouldn't mind paying for it himself ><

Anw Kayyan made a card and we all signed on it. Hahs.. Sincerely from 4P2!

After the long meal, Kayyan and nick went home first while the rest of us went upstairs to the roof where there's this playground lol.
Saw 4T1 and 4T2/(2008)!

WL and co. wanted to watch harry potter with me ( URGH 2nd time? The movie's okay nia x_x)But thankfully they changed their minds!

We went to my house and played bridge and wl was hogging his psp as usual -.-

CCA investiture...

Nothing much to comment about that event, it just went smoothly without a hitch.

The procedures we had to take throughout the entire event was just to wait for our turn to appear on stage, smile (=D) and look our very best, take a bow, pledge our service to the college, and that's about it I think...

Hahs, Mark (Hou) didn't have leather shoes and I kindly offered to lend him my dad's :x

Anw, Mark was seated behind me during the investiture and as usual, he started random joking around even until people who didn't know him started laughing. LOL

Just before the end of investiture, there was a group of girls hysterically screaming away at the balcony, inuriating the principal .___.""

Anw, our principal was very very disappointed and enraged about the school's behaviour and the way we carry ourselves. x_____x

The CCA heads were seated whereas class leaders and councillors remained standing up, listening to her haranguing......

Everything ended with a large group photo session and a tasty reception :D

I hate doing PW!
I'm always cutting into my sleep when there's a new assignment due tmr.

Some random updates.

1)I cut my hair! And it looks awfully disgusting! But I admit, that's partly because my hair was really VERY long! I'm grateful towards the hairdresser for taking so long to patiently cut my hair =) Thankyou!

2)I was laughing my head off over this...

Clarise was tagged in a photo by her classmates which showed them crossing Bugis street junction from a distance, then in the forefront was the big face of an elderly woman and she got tagged in the photo as well; labelled "Old Woman"

LOLs that's so bad but yet so hilarious! Hahahahas.

But anw it's not a very bad thing to slack lah... I'll also relent to stress at times and start doing nothing - -

I was told ytd that we would have 3 extra tickets for the viewing of
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!

Ahaha. Free movie tickets are given by many different banks every now and then to ensure customer loyalty. Lol lol, isn't that a useful economic strategy? :D

My parents weren't going and my younger sis had been quarantined,
yes she is under 7 days quarantined because she had contact with a classmate who contracted H1N1.

Yesterday she had a slight fever. Her working thermometer measured 36.5 but she felt unwell and my mom brought her to the doctor. The thermometer used by the doctor measured 38.0 degrees instead YIKES. ($4 thermometers are unreliable -.-)
O.O worried about her.

But now she's fine :) her temperature has lowered.

Anw because my sister can't leave house that left us 3 tickets.

I desperately msged all my friends ( only those whom I thought will go) but alas, over 10 friends couldn't make it :(

My elder sister was facing the same difficulties inviting friends to watch too lol.

But, thankfully to fanwei and kenneth, they agreed to go! Wooo so grateful haha =D

Then my mom was back from the clinic after sending my younger sister.. and LOL we told her to go with us. Haha. Before that, my elder sister and I were contemplating asking the maid to watch with us too wahaha.

So at the eleventh hour, my mom drove us to Orchard cineleisure and we watched the movie with fanwei and kenneth!

1 uncomfortable experience during the movie would have to be the location we were at!!!

ROAR we were like the 5th seat from the front and I had to strain my neck throughout the 2hr45mins screening.

X___X

Then my neck ached a bit and I felt slightly queasy..

But on the overall, the movie is not bad! Though it wasn't exciting ( Where's the climax of the movie?!) , it wasn't boring either. Just somewhere in the middle of EXCELLENT and average.

Readers and supporters of the novel should watch it. :)

Had a subway lunch with elder sister, mom and fanwei. Kenneth went back home earlier since he lives in Orchard ( near the cinema).

Nothing much today, except that I found chinese the most fun lesson for today woots.

Just exchanged numbers and email with Darren and Hex, heh the guys in the class are starting to bond :) Kenneth was receiving this LARGE portion of tuna baked potato with lots of vegetables and I thought the auntie was so nice to give him so much but chey he paid a whooping $2.50 for that.

I ate Honey Baked Chicken Ham Sandwich which apparently tasted like anything but honey baked :x still hungry after that..

So after our Chinese lesson I took the train with Darren home and talked about maple and stuff I shalln't disclose LOL. :X

I'm still feeling sleepy yawns. Darren and Hex haven't added my msn yet.

Then just now I got scolded by my father for blowing up my Phone bill but it's just a pathetic $48!!!

As a summary, my common tests are generally below average... As in, I feel that all the papers attempted were not the usual performance I can deliver, but it's over, so I shall cheer up! ( Especially the first geog question which caused me to emo so long, RAWR I found the picture on the geog reading notes after the test and got the answer wrong zzz.. It's so difficult to decipher whether it's exhumation or pediplanation theory rawr)

But thanks to Yi An Wei Lin and Cliantha I stopped thinking about it le. OK MOVING FORWARD...

I went exercising today!

Before the start of the holidays, I made a self-resolution that I'd train hard and keep my fitness in check during the holidays but in the end I didn't even leave my house 1 bit = =

Today went to watch Transformers with my elder sister and cousin.

It's a great great show. Hadn't seen such a well-done action packed movie for a long time ever sinced Lord of the Rings :3

anw, I saw WengHo and maliki at the cinema lobby and they were catching the same movie! Rawr, left me out.

We chat for a while and I was saying that both of them haven't changed one bit =X

But Boy, Maliki's grown really tall! going to overtake me le! argh.

Anw, Transformers is a nice show! Very exciting, action-packed, thoughtfully story-lined and more importantly for the audience, humourous too! Wahahaha.

SO TIRED TODAY!

Woke up at 7am plus to join my family ( Dad mom cousin zj and younger sis) to go to Bukit Timah Hill and climb with dad's friends.

Since today's father's day, ( Happy father's day, btw) I agreed to dad's request for everyone to go :x

But I didn't even had breakfast before we set off and trust me, the journey was really tough! Rawr.. We were taking all the sucky routes and many long flights of stairs, everyone's legs became wobbly wobbly by then time we reached the summit. Urgh, (and I was in uncontrollable hunger) even my cousin felt giddy because we didn't eat nor drink anything before setting off.

But overall, we managed to conquer Bukit Timah Hill! (okay quite a mediocre achievment =x)

Wanted to watch movie at first but all the movies left are quite unappealing :/

Then Alvin was late as usual

In the end we went to some lan and played.

What I did today was quite a blur.

Woke up duper late at 1pm plus, asked alvin to come my house take my assessment books but he dowan, wanted to meet zh and sam and alvin and wl at 2.30 at amk hub then zh got work ): zz zh we always have clashing time schedules..

And saw regina! haha, actually, you saw me first :O Commanche's all around me ahaha.

Then, sam told me he will be damn late, can't go watch movie cos no $$

Alright enough of the dull gloomy posts, because today was a blastingly fun day!

Yeah I missed Commanche so much! And was so glad that most of us turned up : Regina (earliest to arrive =D), Yicong, Qin Jie, Yi Bin, Zi Ying, Cassandra, Li An, Sheena, Benson, Mark (Hou) and Yilin!
Sad that the others couldn't make it: Olivia, Usha, Debbie Dylan and Chonghui (Both sick =( )

BBQ was great! hahas. Laughed a lot like usual.. The usual jokers providing all the funny stuff : Li An, Mark, Yi Bin and a bit of the rest of us :) hahas! But I think Regina and Qinjie deserve our recognition for doing most of the wonderful cooking! Good job guys! and thanks! hahas. Though I did help out, I ate a significant part of the food =X

Yilin was our instructor during AB camp, and to be frank, I found her rather stern! But during the Bbq, she was the Hyper-est of the hyper-est! Whoa, always squealling in delight when she wins a game, then screaming her lungs out when she sees cats ( Oo) What a weird phobia o.o anw, you're a wonderful instructor :)

Though Yicong was strict and had high expectations of us during AB camp, he's a nice guy and I know everyone can see that. hahas :) Glad yicong was enthusiastic about the camp! woots!

And Chinhao is the most generous instructor you can ever come across! This needs no further explanation =)

Today's Charsiew joke damn funny sia! HAHAS! Qin jie said something which made everyone laugh ahahaha. But great that Yibin can take it with a laugh :) That's the spirit when everyone's laughing with you, not at you =)

Ate damn lot of stuff, Otah, fried rice, satay, chicken wings and drumlets, stingray etcetc. Benson was the latest to arrive, in school uniform somemore sia! hahas hardworking chap, JYJY for your future presidential endeavours! wahaha

Went on to play a funny game called asshole Daidi. Wah damn fun when you become safe! ( means when you're not the asshole) hahas. Shall elaborate on the rules if anyone of u ask me about it hees. Then at the last 2 rounds, I was so tyco to upgrade my rank from a commoner to a King, and maintain my king position for the next round! sad that we had to end the game early.. :( awww. hahas! But it was fun! hees.

And something really funny happened today when we were deciding on what videos to watch after we went back upstairs after the bbq... We had a selection of many films, but there was this film " Brokeback mountain", some gay movie and Mark kept wanting to watch it ! hahas!

In the end, everyone picked Rush Hour 3! hahas! though I watched it before, this time it was a better experience since I could laugh with everyone else ahahahahahahahaha! Esp Chris tucker's character part, he portrayed it in a really hilarious way!

Anw, today's a great day! Sad that we didn't take any pictures =( ... but, thanks chinhao for your wonderful hosting! Just realised today that chin hao's a damn damn rich guy! ahahas. So envious of you sia.... haha

By the end of the movie, it was 11.30 plus and whew, Chinhao's parents came back! It was really gracious of chinhao's father to drive us to City hall interchange then I took the greenline with ziying and mark on the way home. hahas.

Ziying knows kayyan too! Whoa Princess kayyan ganjie, you're so popular to know so many of my friends! First carol, now ziying! whoa hahas. They are of the same tuition group anw. But hehs! I ought to grats you for being together with your crush! hahahahahahas =D Kayyan dun blush hor! ( I'm posting this though I bet she won't read this =p)

Then we started worrying about the midyears and continuing with our engaging discussions. haha

Mark's damn funny sia! haha. A great company to have especially when you're sian. HUPSING! hehs. Anw we were from the same school area! hahas. CCKSS and BPGHS. hehs.. It's been a long time since anyone wanted me to send them home so I readily agreed when he asked me to take bus 300 with him. Hahs. DUN DOTA ALREADY! Study!!!! heehs

Quite troubled with what my future work will involve for my CCA duties.

Didn't know that I would be so inexperience in the works of a QM.

And I feel that there are certain people in the band whom I cannot connect with ( communicate with) even though I tried many times. They just reply you a 1 word answer whenever you try to strike a conversation and be friendly, and I always get the feeling that they aren't interested in whatever I am saying whenever I talk to them.

Darn. Don't want to face difficulties when announcing stuff to the band and I don't want people to disrespect me.

Reflecting much and trying to do something about it.

My best camp group EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( And also my only camp group O.O )

Anw, I was reading regina's blog and she wrote many memorable stuff about the whole experience and night expedition ( THE most fun part of AB camp woots)

Ahaha. lazy to go on and write about everything so I shall quote a bit from Regina. Yeah, hahas hope I'm not plagiarising anything hees.

nice experience for night expedition!
i was super super high, like ultimate highness!
felt rather a chore to keep asking permission for this and that, but well, we had fun time doing that too, dont we?
set off from AJ at abt 2200.
first few checkpoints are all the places i know. haaa(:
despite the fact that i cnt read a map.
met with a small accident outside amk hub- motorist w cabbie.
luckily, it's very minor.
got to be navigator with benson.
he taught me how to read a map. (so nice..)(see, i learnt how to read a map! the fruitful learning outcome of AB camp!)
i knew the way to the checkpoints jus that i cnt follow a map, until i got to know how to read it.
so happy and enthu!
took a rest & toilet break at petrol kiosk- super gross.
all the way to woodleigh, chged navigator.
walked at the back with qin jie, shen wei etc, etc..
nice talking while navigators are busy looking at the map, leading us to the correct route.
quite eerie if i were to walk alone at woodleigh, where we passed by a columbarium..
maris stella high was ard there. cedar used to be there too..so scary..wonder how the guys go home at night, if they were to stay late.
played games. quite fun. all abt trust. cool game.
walk walk walk...someone knocked her head on the lamp post. must be too tired.
we started to look out for each other, protecting and alerting for the lamp posts..
quite a hazzle, cos s'pore has toooo much lamp posts on the streets.
walk walk walk, benson started singing...some others are too tired.
hard to talk to them, cos they're half awake n very diff to make them high although we have glucose drink. hehe(:

i was super high and enthu until i started to b a road marshal with shen wei.
realised road marshal is a rather tough job- run run run to help look out for traffic.
panting until i didn have breath to talk to shen wei, that's when i became low...and chong hui became high.argh.missed that fun opportunity.
tired. esp legs. we sat down everywhere we could. near pedestrain crossing, outside petrol kiosk, busstop, any ground.. like yea, super suan.
generally all of us feel that our legs gonna break soon.
ate some oreo.benson became a lil high again. haha(:
continue walking n eating n talking, to keep awake.
i was getting high again.boost from the glucose drink!
going to reach destination, played a last game, which i played at elects' camp too. so council elects are not supposed to talk.
completed the game, took much longer than we took in elects' camp cos brain half dead.
facilitation- so funny. some fall aslp during facilitation, some talking nonsensically, all sorts of funny stuff appear. (the true agenda of night expedition)
walked a super far route to ECP. victoria school was nowhere to be found on the map, like weird.lol. creepy huh?
i was the navigator again, cos i was most awake with benson.
i walked super fast, cos i wanted to reach there before 0630. benson keep asking me to slow down n i didn realise that ppl could catch up with me, sorry ppl.
in the end, we reached ECP, bedok jetty, on time- punctual- 0630!
it doesn matter if we are the last to reach despite we're the first to leave AJ cos we had fun, quite a lot of breaks (as compared with some grps) in the 24km course.

Had a nice lunch together with commanche and instructors ( though Usha and Qinjie couldn't make it)
Cracked loads of jokes hahahaha and it was a really great experience..
That's abt it I guess.. o.o

And there's a fam bbq tmr! yays. Shall really take lots of pics with Commanche! plus instructors. Yeah their the best instructors you can ever find. Well, we have really strict but caring instructors and those who bought snacks for us along the way ( during our SL project and after Nigh Expedition ^^) And now, instructor chin hao is even hosting a bbq for us! yeahs. I'm so grateful to be in this wonderful camp group hahas.

Anw, we're a happy clique of guys (:

Yeah, I'm going to talk abt the fun stayover last Saturday.

Heh, anw, my entire family went to Malaysia to celebrate my grandmother's birthday last Saturday afternoon. I didn't go with them as I had band practice till 7pm.

Anw, I was given money to eat for dinner and 3meals for Sunday ^^

By around 10pm when I reached home, the house was totally empty; even the maid went along. Then I felt damn sian alone :S

Initially invited Ven, Sam and Zh to my house but zh and ven couldn't come at that time. I msged sam and realised that his phone line was already terminated - -

But Alvin, fw and weeliam came so yeah, at least there're ppl who did come [:

Watched many funny movies till it was 6am and everyone wanted to sleep but Alvin kept playing the same lyrics from a korean song which sounded like a scolding and singing it over and over again - - " Your mother Jini" or sth. Lols

Slept till 1pm the next day and had a sleepy breakfast.

Everyone seemed so tired but got a bit more enthu when i suggested we play badminton and lols it was quite a fun experience.

Went to swim with the 3 of them and hahaha, 2 of them couldn't swim lols lols. kk I shalln't name who =) but nvm, you can always learn anytime hehs.

Showered up really quick within 15 minutes heh.

Went to play pool and alvin was throwing a tantrum roars. Kept insisting on bowling :( Weeliam was wearing a green shirt and dark pants that I lent him and we looked identical since I wore a same shirt too hahaha ^^

By 7pm, pool ended and we went to Teck Whye Macs to have dinner. haha. so economic. And everyone talked many many random stuff. Lols. And cracked stupid jokes but we laughed anyway lols lols.

I showed everyone around the teck whye area and wanted to show them the canal which was just beside my secondary sch ( Bukit Panjang Govt High) when it was still using the holding site.

Anyway, the conditions improved: a larger pathway, smooth and renovated, lamp posts by the walkway, sturdier and well painted railings and there were many joggers at that point of time though it was dark. Heh. Shared with them many ghostly stories and experiences I heard of from my friends ( at the canal) and everyone got quite scared lol lols.

But sians, the area was renovated and the surroundings weren't very scary-like anymore haha. But anw, we shared ghost stories and extraordinary experiences and everyone was walking really fast back home hahas.

Reached home panting, and we went on to take pictures. Though I'm not really the photogenic type, we did manage to take some good pictures. Hahas.

A great 2 day experience with Alvin fw and weeliam. Hehs. Let's have another bigger fam outing soon yeah? ^^

I had a near scolding today :O

Anw, my playing isn't really improving though I'm always trying my best during band practices. My best just isn't enough.

Got a bad quarrell with mom today. sad.. she didn't give me any allowance and yet I got out of the house and rushed to band.. So in the end, I had to endure without lunch. Urgh, stomach was grumbling throughout when we had combined practice

I'm kinda catching up with my friends' blogs and everyone's feeling equally sian as me. hahaha =X lol I'm not trying to be sadistic lah ahaha.

There was a sad ending to my sister's relationship with her boyfriend or what not, well, he woo-ed her all the way till she started liking him and poof, now he reverts back to his ex-girlfriend. zzz. Feel like giving him a punch for her sake.. Even Ahma asked Ven to kick him out of our guild already. Sad.. Hope my sister gets over it. Should be fine lah, she doesn't get hurt easily (:

Hahas, and something funny happened last this Wednesday during band prac.. ( sy and qc dun kill me :) I didn't say this, I'm quoting it)

oh but qingchang got screwed too, hahaha whoever mr alvin's gossip kaki is...

mr alvin: "qingchang! please remember you are still a student."
qc: "huh?"
mr alvin: "why do you have a plaster on your neck? only one person is old enough to be allowed to come into the band room with a plaster on his neck and that is me!"
band: "whoooahh"
qc: "no la i went cycling:"
mr alvin: "and the bicycle rolled over your neck right."
qc: "no, mosquito bit me!"
mr alvin: "oh please remind me never to go near whichever BUSHES you and your mosquito were at. i might get bitten too."

mr alvin: "oh and qingchang, DOES YOUR MOSQUITO PLAY THE BASS CLARINET?"

Hahas, no wonder the band burst into fits of laughter and I was left there huh?-ing since I couldn't hear a thing. Lol lol

And regarding fam outing ytd, zhzh my 3rd bro dun be sad le :) Because like laughter, emo-ing is contagious, :9 but I'm always here to guide you along if you're lost and lend u a listening ear when you're troubled :) So dun fret, okay!!

Actually, I had been thinking and reflecting for a very long time. To be specific, ever since October 2008, a few days before my O levels

But before I begin with it, I wanna dedicate this post to a really really special friend (:

He's the guy who sat the hellish Sec 4 year with me during school with all the shit intensive mugging and uncompletable HOMEWORK

And we shared many ups and downs together...

To be direct, there were times when we were really close friends and times when he just agitates me and makes my life MISERABLE with his tactless shootings ):

There was once when he just badmouthed me to his ex-classmates
but there was also once when people badmouthed the two of us together

But after thinking through all the laughter we had, all the wrestling ( over an eraser) we had at the back of the class, our English teacher scolding the two of us for not paying attention and ahaha.. (shoo-ing off of the girl who kept looking at the back), I kinda miss the good old days we had fun together =(

This special friend also happened to be the first person whom I had found to share the same birthday as me... 30th November woots woots! And we had a really blasting birthday bash on 2007 =)

And we were one of the more hiong maplers at that time where we created a class guild RoyaleX and hahas, the active maplers at that time were only him, me and my sisters, so we kept in touch online often in maple. ahaha, not to mention all the countless chionging and sharing of weapons and equipments.

At times, he would be spamming cash like me ( like a competition -.- ) and we'd dress up our characters until they look damn pro and we would always do Ludi pq together. hahas. And he was always scrolling and scrolling mage equipts! ( since we were both mages)

When he passes, he'd be extremely happy of course, and showing off in my face = = but when he fails, ahaha, he curses and swears and starts venting his anger on me. By bursting into flames of anger

And he was really close with my sisters! He even gave them maple equipments and stuff ( 1mil mesos to my elder sis on her birthday) and they'd write him a card in return. Ahaha, and during our 15th birthday, my sisters, cousins and me sung a happy birthday song rap to him haha. It was childish to some extent but he appreciated it anw. Ahaha. a very hilarious rap LOL

But somewhere in the middle of sec 4, we quit maple and started studying for our O lvls

Stress embraced us in shrouded mists and our friendship started drifting apart. He was having his own problems while I had my own, and before we knew it, we started squabbling over conflicted issues.

These squabbles were minor initially, but as they were not resolved in a calm manner, they snowballed into larger ones. (I Guess he had problems with his rlts and more...)

I had difficulties with my studies; I was failing my A Maths terribly
My mother was giving me a really hard time... She became unreasonably controlling of my life: My curfews, freedom, pocket money and more was more or less under her control

And the stress kinda made our raging tempers escalate...
I started blaming him for all his faults and mistakes and became calculative towards him and he became more reserved and less talkative.. He stopped opening up during class and paid full attention during class, only replying to questions I asked him during lesson.

Anw, one really sad thing happened and it was a very bad quarrell between us =(

From my point of view,
I messaged my friends to study at my house, including him. Initially, he ignored my message ( according to princess ky) and persisted so even when she told him to reply. Then when I called him to ask, he diverted the call and told me that he was busy =S

Only after I messaged him " Okay call me back when u are un-busy" did he reply " I dowan go ur hse la"

Anw, I was angry but tried to say some encouraging stuff ( to make peace) and DID my best to control myself from scolding back anw.

On the next day, I wanted to ask another friend ( Ky) whether he would be coming to study at my house but sent it to my special friend instead. ( Because my handphone keys had and still has navigation problems)

He replied a " No" and I felt really frustrated with him. I shouldn't have sent this stupid msg, but I wrote " Sai la wasn't asking you"

Yeah, stupid of me to do that. But anw, he didn't reply. Instead, ky's hp replied " Sai something something" back to me and I guess I was about to explode into anger. Anw, we quarrelled some random stuff and he replied that he didn't come to my house to study because he was in school with ky to study together. I didn't accept his reply because he told me beforehand that he 'dowan to go to (my) hse"

So, the cold war between us just started like that. It kinda seems immature and small from a third party's view but this minor cold war carried on from October 2008 untill now. Yes it's that serious ):

Later that day, my sister told me that my special friend said he "sent the wrong message to me" and I kinda rejected his statement or 'reason' and continued ignoring him. But now I realise that I myself sent the wrong message to him in the first place and yet I didn't take the initiative to apologise..

I was frustrated and a little upset over this and it kinda blocked my head when I was still preparing for the O lvl exams -.- And before I know it, it's already 11 June 2009.

Now as time progresses, I guess we start to calm down and try to sort things out. Now do I realise for every second of anger, how much is every second of happiness that you are wasting.

And now, the problem isn't about who's fault it is nor what could have been done, but what I should be doing now..

I feel apologetic and yet I don't have the initiative to step forward and tell him I'm sorry, I wanna patch up and yet I don't have the courage to do so.. and this carried on for months. I was putting on a front and there was even once when he tried talking to me and I pretended not to know him in the face ><

I always thought Princess ky and my other close friends wl maliki and company would intervene and try to patch us up.. I thought princess ky would treat us to lunch together and I would have the chance to talk to him, I thought telling maliki about it would make things better but..

AHHHH, after all the self-reflectory thinking,

I feel that I should go and say sorry to him first, because I didn't give him the chance to talk to me. :O

Sigh, I tried to ask him out to study this Tuesday but his reply sounded really unfavourable. Guess he must be mad at me for my nonchalant behaviour, and I don't even know if he has got a new clique of friends and chose to move on..

But anw, I'm going to take the risk and find a time to chat with him on msn!

You guys should know who I'm talking about lah, hahas. Esp my Bpian friends. VERY informative about such things de! hahas.

For people who dunno, haha.. just pretend u didn't see anything lah. hahas. Though I chose to post this, I don't really like to talk openly about it :9

Yeah, getting back to the reason why I hadn't been updating much about my posts.. That's because I dun really have the mood to post anything happy ( especially when I dropped by his blog =X )

And Jc life stress is also coming in, so I hope we can faster patch up! Hmmm. Dunno where to start. Ahh.

AB camp was both 5 hellish days of my life but at the same time a very enriching, fulfilling and happy experience!

The friendships you make from AB camp are really different!!! hahas. After all the "incessant" giving of pumping punishments, insufficient sleep, loads of loudspeaking and nagging, we still made it to the end! woots!

The happy times we shared from AB camp would still be etched in my mind for a long while. hahas, especially the night expedition which lasted from 10pm to 6am! hahas.

Eh Cliantha!!! We walked the longest route okay.. that's why commanche ( Group5) was allowed to set off first. Lol duh!!! the longest route obviously takes the longest time for a group to complete, Ceteris paribus.

ahaha.

Anw famine camp seems torturous.. 30 hours without food. I think i'd really starve even if it's 8 hours.. Lol. So great job, famine campers! Anw, I think everyone in famine camp had fun. :9

Anw, everyone studied in my house rather than the original "downstairs". Kayyan mark zongli maliki waileong and wengho turned up.

We talked some happy reminiscient stuff and watched shows together. haha. as usual.. wl started playing his psp and wh was sticking to him lols.

Anw, I'm happy we've finally met up after a long term of separation.. aww. haha.

Alright I'll try to make this post quite interesting to read about hmmm.

Initially I was sceptical about being in my group. :O

Because there was absolutely no one I knew!

Monday, June 1 marked the start of a new beginning and I got to make new friends from the camp. Basically there were 8 guys and 7 girls in our group ( grp number 5).

I went to sch with Joyce tgt since we both were going and we were late by approx 3mins I think.

There was no introduction or welcome briefing...

The female student instructor in charge started scolding loud and terribly as we the latecomers made a beeline to the hall.

" PUMPING POSITION!"

And before we knew it, a punishment was meted out to us. It was at this time that I found out what's next in stall for us for the next 5 days...

But on the overall, the entire camp passed by so quickly that I can't even recall much detail about it!

Though there was much to lament about in the camp: ( Lack of sleep, crazy punishments given, almost-unreasonable time given for us to wash up/get prepared, all the fatigue and yet strict uphold of discipline), the camp was also a gauge for us to further develop as leaders and well, I really enjoyed it a lot (: Seriously..

And my group ( Commanche) should most probably be the best bonded among the 15!

Alright, since everyone's (only zh, LOL) been bugging me to update, I shall update!!!

HAHAS. Alright alright, let's start with whats on my mind :)

ERRM.

The damn eff-ing homework load given to us. ( Pardon me for being coarse)

But anw, my life's as good as dominated by school.

Studying and studying, urgh. I don't want to laze around and get retained in the EOY
but just want a little bit more time to relax ><

Okay, and there're still many many upcoming performances of which the band should rehearse for. I'm fine with learning the new pieces, currently not facing any difficulties. ( Thank god)

Next, yesterday was Randy's birthday! ( My senior in trumpet section)

And there was a lot of fun and stuff at his uncle house. ( A really big party!)

Though the popping partying music wasn't there ( hahas =x)
but the number of people present would suffice for the atmosphere.

Had a nice dinner at the function room, talked and mingled with friends and wished the birthday boy a happy birthday! hahas. Randy's clique of friends didn't arrive yet, so we couldn't commence with the birthday singing until much later, so we ( the ones who arrived early) went to the playground and played catching ahahaha.

Lots of running and laughter, and sweating too :3

And everyone was present by the time we stopped playing!

Went back to the function room and continued with the usual proceedings, all the flashing from the cameras made the event seem like a press conference HAHA!!

And randy was dunked into the pool! hahas.

Going home was a bit of a problem. the 5 of us CCK ppl were supposed to catch a cab to lot1 and watch the 10.50 timeslot ANGELS and DEMONS.
Then when a cab arrived, the driver only allowed 4 ppl. There was a bus horning impatiently for the cab to drive and URGH, under all the hustle, I was left alone. ZZ the rest of the group went home by bus and I had to find a cab all by myself. Roar.

Managed to catch a cab and reach lot1 by 11pm. missed 10 mins of the show but the movie was AWESOME it's a must watch!!!

GTG do other stuff :)

Our hardwork paid off

Yeah, this post is about my experience from SYF 2009 =)

As the emcee proceeded to announce the results for SYF for Bands 2009 after thanking comments, everyone went silent immediately.

I could feel my heart pounding hard on me as he started announcing the first band.
Along with the rest of my section, I was holding on to a $1 coin as it's believed to carry good luck ( due to the pentagon shape) :0

We held hands and prayed hard as the emcee announced our school name " Anderson Junior College"

And he smiled as if one cannot decipher the hidden meaning behind it.

Before we knew it,

" Gold with Honours "

EVERYBODY SCREAMED and SCREAMED!
I was STUMPED. Speechless and at a loss.
There was this overwhelming of immense joy and ecstasy
(But I started screaming with the rest anyway)
It was a super touching moment and many of us started crying :3

Hahahs, great job guys (; I'm so proud of you all!

I didn't cry but it doesn't mean i didn't put in a lot of effort okay! I just believed that we can get GWH that's all F3

Thanks everyone! Too many ppl to thank :)

Now i'm going to catch up on my sleep and start on mugging soon!

But Ajcsb, must jyjy and go all the way hor!

Mr Alvin made a very good point just now; he said we were like a bright shining star emerging since last year's NBC
All the while, the band had been getting silver all the way :0

But at the same time, he wanted us to be humble as well.
There was this very memorable phrase
" When you think that you're the best, the only direction you'll be going is that you'll fall"

Very meaningful indeed.

1) Homework

this is the opportunity for us to show that AJ band is strong okay. I wanna prove to some friends (even outside school) that we can achieve GWH! Though I'm unsure what the outcome will be, I know we'll do our best for it x)

My mortal just wrote back to me. Ryan! I feel guilty for not giving him any news for soo long. He said he already knows who I am but i still pretend not to know him in band. LOL. Maybe we'll talk on Weds, the eve of SYF!

Lawson wrote a short card for me.. It's nice, that phrase " friends laugh and you, not with you" Lol. Anw, i love cards a lot. Will keep it safe in my drawer :)
